Whether on a first date, seeking a mate, or appreciating your state- the library is the place!
Today, singles make up almost 50% of the adult population. The needs for singles are as varied as that of any other population. Some are seeking a partner for a relationship and some a place to meet other singles with common interests to share in friendship.
As a society, we are currently redefining what constitutes “relationship”. Our programs will address these current trends by providing up-to-date information on relationship options, how and where to find them, activities and resources that are available to singles, and how to increase your chances of discovering a satisfying choice for you.
The Singles Cafe…where singles mingle. Speakers planned to address topics, such as relationships, dating, enjoying your singleness. Each night’s program will end with some informal cafe-style time to mingle.

I want to attend but can not find anything to tell me what time the Singles Cafe starts. Please email me the starting time since if you have it on your site, I can’t find it.

Let me apologize for not saying the time! We want you guys to attend so of course this is a major oversight on our part. The Singles Cafe starts at 7pm and goes to 9 pm. Hope you guys can make it-

To get to Centereach take Exit #62 North (Nicolls Road) off Long Island Expressway. Go North on Nicolls Road to Middle Country Road (Route 25). Take the exit ramp on your right for Smithtown (West). At the end of exit ramp, make left onto Route 25. Continue 6/10 mile to Eastwood Boulevard. Turn right at light (across from Burger King) and continue 4/10 mile to MCPL-Centereach on the left.

Attendee’s do not usually bring their children, the choice would be really up to you. However, we would ask you to leave the room if the child becomes disruptive.

Hello, the Singles Café is open to all ages but the age range that attends usually falls between the ages 40s-and up. See you at the Café!
